A record of the marks
that make us.
On a television screen. On a medicine wrapper.
On the side of a building. A little piece of Nigeria.
Our visual history, worth holding on to.
Nigerian Marks is an independent collection of logos connected to Nigeria. It brings familiar identities and lesser-known symbols into one place, making them easier to discover, study, and appreciate.
This archive begins with a simple belief: the marks around us are part of our cultural memory. Their shapes carry stories of businesses, institutions, designers, and everyday life.
A living collection
We’re documenting one mark at a time. Some entries are still waiting for a name, a designer credit, or a story. Those gaps are made visible, so the archive can grow with care.
Know a mark? Know its story?
If you recognise an unidentified logo or can help with a designer credit, send the details to Nigerian Marks on Instagram.
